£24.95 per month on contract and £35 something for no contract per month.
Hubbie wasn't happy with what they were offering and to be honest I'm happy enough to go along with what he has decided to do. Think we're just going to go to one of the local leisure centres tonight and have a nosy which would be better to do I suppose seeing as there's a swimming pool there as well as all the gym equipment.
Think it was the admin fees and the little bits and pieces that hubbie wasn't happy with, and the girl from Fitness First kept pushing for the contract and we didn't want to get tied into a contract with them as if we wanted to leave it's really hard to get out of it without it costing a lot more.
Their offer at the mo of no administration or joining fee isn't as good as it sounds especially as it costs more per month than it normally would so they get the money out of you no matter what.
So we're going to go to the Robinson Centre tonight I think and there's another leisure centre near the house somewhere, need to get the map out cause we weren't aware of one being that close and we'll look at it if not tonight then on Wednesday as I've got tech tomorrow night and it might be too late to go see it after class.

I joined ours as i do every place we live and i go for a couple of months religiously but then never bother. Honestly, unless you are gonna go at least 3 times a week and probably more it's not worth it, and never join one that doesn't throw in the classes for free - ours are half price for members which means even more dosh. They really rely on people signing up and never attending which is what usually happens. Spend the cash on a couple of space hoppers, hula hoops or roller blades and get with it that way - much more fun x
