...and hubbie has chosen a coffee cake for his birthday cake so that's what I'm making for him. Of course I have the candles for him to blow out and I'm going to see if I can get him a badge today to wear when we're out tomorrow night and maybe a hat as well just so everyone knows it's his birthday.
I know he's turning 35 but I want to make a big deal out of it as he's a bit grumpy at the mo (but then what's new with that!).
It would embarass his if I got the restaurant to bring something out to him infront of everyone else so not doing that, will just do my best to make sure he has a fun time and then on Sunday we're spending a few hours together in the park with a disposable barbeque and a few sandwiches just to get out of the house and be together.
Have gotten him a back massager thingy that you can use in the car or just use on a seat in the house and a book of guitar chords as he thought about taking up the guitar again but not sure if he will or not, will see about that one but he has the chords when he's ready.
Am going to see if I can get him a new book or two today when I'm in Bargain Books, there's no other book shops unless I go into town and won't be able to do that until tomorrow possibly not sure yet but just incase Bargain Books usually have a good selection of autobiographies and that's what he likes to read so will be sorted hopefully.
Just need to get some wrapping paper, and a party hat or two and maybe see what else Connswater has that might do.
