My Place

...I might nip into Lidl and get some more eggs, flour and sugar and start making my pastry, I can freeze what I don't use tonight and that'll save me some time Christmas week. I love looking through Lidl anyway for strange bits and pieces that I wouldn't normally ever think of using so it's an adventure!

Will get me out of the house for a bit, am not looking forward to being in an empty house tonight, guess I've gotten too used to Hubbie not working week nights and I'm not ready to spend the night alone again. He has me spoiled! Good chance to get the clothes cleared from the living room where he left them yesterday and then told me to leave them alone because he'll finish waht he's started but they've been bugging me so I'll get to do what I want and sort them out the way I like rather than his way which though I appreciate, annoys me.

Since it is now December I will willingly talk about Christmas food stuffs and that includes all the homebaking that I'll be doing in the next 4 weeks, the 4th week especially seeing as I'll be off work (thank you trade holidays!).

I'm planning on baking my own mince pies again, with my own homemade fillings, a couple of cakes, and lots of chocolate brownies as everyone seems to love those each time I make them.

Am quite looking forward to all of the baking, but not to making my own pastry, but I refuse to buy it because I love the challenge!

...finally I will talk about Christmas and when I'll be putting up my Christmas decorations, I will stop telling people to piss off if they mention Christmas to me, and I'll even smile when I hear a Christmas song, but I refuse to get excited about it so leave me alone if I don't jump up and down with childish abandonment each time someone mentions Christmas parties and presents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
